Provide general human resources support by serving as the first point of contact for employees and act as a trusted adviser to managers.Conduct full cycle recruitment including sourcing and maintaining job vacancy(s), preparing job descriptions, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, reference checks, preparing offer of employment and internal hiring documents.Coordinate employee on-boarding process by preparing new hire packages, conducting new employee orientations, and work with IT to ensure that new employee is set up prior to employee’s start day.Enter and maintain confidential employee records in organization’s HRIS system which included entering new hires, terminations, salary changes and staffing changes.Update and maintain organizational chart and headcount reports.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of related agreements, policies, procedures and legislations to accurately assist employees with inquiries related to company policies, leave of absences, employee benefits, recruitment, performance management and compensationParticipate in health and safety initiatives and assist with accident investigations.Provide general administrative and/or analytical support including preparation of reports, announcements and maintain company intranet site.Prepare Human Resources related correspondences such as employment and salary verification letters, retirement letters and recruitment status updates.Participate in ongoing improvement of various policies, employee handbook and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of recruitment and human resources services.Support resolution of employee relations issues and conduct disciplines as necessaryMaintain staff-employer relations that contribute to satisfaction, productivity, motivation, and morale.
