Groove.me lessons are English lessons for primary school children based on pop songs. I convert the paper worksheets into digital interactive exercises.

I checked and edited several biology Bloqs (digital and interactive 'units') which help high school students study their school subjects. Since 2009 I have been writing explanations for the Biology exam Bloqs (vmbo, havo, vwo).

I investigated the localization of Bacillus subtilis proteins using fluorescence microscopy. I performed a large time-series microarray experiment of Bacillus and I have briefly worked with the lanthibiotic peptide nisin.

Basisboek Biologie was written for first-year students in higher education. It summarizes and explains all the biology that is required for the high school exams. The book is accompanied by a website that contains interactive exercises.

I translated American educational publications for Dutch primary schools on famous scientists and their discoveries. Marie Curie and atoms, Louis Pasteur and microorganisms, Jane Goodall and animals. I wrote exercise materials to accompany the books. I co-edited a few installments of the 'ABCDE... Ik begrijp het!' series.
