As President of Fight Colorectal Cancer, I've led transformative initiatives, expanding the organization's reach and impact. Notable achievements include:-Advocacy Growth: Growing Fight CRC's advocacy movement, engaging thousands worldwide.-Policy Influence: Influencing policy to lower screening age to 45, impacting legislation in multiple states.Research Advocacy: Establishing Fight CRC’s Research Advocacy Training and Support program (RATS) to empower advocates.-Leadership Roles: Chairing the National Cancer Institute’s Council of Research Advocates and serving on advisory councils.-Recipient of awards like the Betty Anne Moore Community Leadership Award and the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Laurel Award for Advocacy.
