As the President I provide leadership and strategic direction to carry out the mission of the organization, maintaining strong ties to the nonprofit, business, and medical communities.

Reporting directly to the senior investigator University leadership, provided administrative oversight over a $11 million dollar NIH budget, operations management, and delivery of services to research laboratories. Managed a team of over 25 investigators, senior leaders and University administrators.Built over 6 years, a statewide community programs as well as developing partnerships with patient advocates, policy makers, service providers, and community leaders to address the unique challenges faced by the colorectal cancer community locally and nationally. Overseeing strategic planning, funding, grant requests, and evaluation of the program.

Managed all clinical and non clinical aspects of research trials in accordance with Skaggs policies, Federal Drug Administration and other regulatory standards under general direction from clinic physicians and leadership.Supervised all office and clinical staff, including performance evaluations, professional and skill development, disciplinary action, hiring, onboarding, counseling and termination. Was responsible for efficient implementation of trials through oversight of regulatory documents preparation, IRB presentations and recruitment plans.
