Currently, I am a Laboratory Analyst at Anglian Water, working in the Trace Organics Lab. My role involves utilizing advanced analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, and GC to analyze trace organic compounds in water samples. I ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain high standards of accuracy and safety in all laboratory operations. My responsibilities include:Performing tests for various chemical compounds, including pesticides and herbicides.Conducting sample preparation and instrument calibration.Analyzing data and reporting results through Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).Collaborating with colleagues to improve laboratory procedures and enhance efficiency.This role has refined my attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills, all of which are essential in a pharmacy setting. My experience working with LabWare LIMS has further strengthened my ability to manage data and adhere to stringent regulatory standards.

Working as a Support Worker has given me firsthand experience of the importance of patient care and maintaining a compassionate, empathetic attitude when dealing with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am committed to placing patient safety and well-being at the centre of everything I do, ensuring that all tasks are performed with the highest level of care.
