An alumna of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, and a Fulbright Fellow & Visiting Scholar at Stanford. Have been Non-Executive Director since 2011 on boards of banks/NBFIs and FinTech companies. Currently serving as Independent NED on boards of Gulf International Bank (Saudi Arabia), Upgrade Inc. (neo-bank in the US), Xapo Bank and Xapo VASP (bank in Gibraltar), and AWARE Singapore (a non-profit focused on gender equality).Serve on the Global Advisory Board of Stanford University's Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI) and on the panel of board nominees of PIF (sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia). A member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Fintech Steering Committee since 2015. Previously served on the advisory board of the Government of Estonia’s e-Residency program.Since 2016, have made VC investments in over 50 FinTech companies and eight VC funds, mainly in the US/UK and Israel, from CE Innovation Capital's Fintech VC Fund of US$500 million with top decile performance. Investments are in payments, Infrastructure and Enterprise Software, Digital/Neo Banks, InsureTech and Crypto infrastructure.Former banking executive with over two decades of experience with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in global leadership roles including Global Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. Was a member of SCB's global executive leadership team, a member of the Global Technology & Operations Management Group, and the Global Risk Management Group.Industry awards and honors include Distinguished Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance (Risk Management) since 2013; Global Alumni Recognition Award (GARA) from IIT Delhi; Innovation Fellow at the National University of Singapore; Fellow at SUSS, Singapore; and The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residency. Passionate about financial inclusion and financial well-being, especially related to longevity. Singaporean citizen and split my time between Singapore and San Francisco.
