I am currently working as Laboratory Technician in Upper Blackstone Clean Water and my primary responsibilities include followings:-Collect composite and grab samples throughout the wastewater treatment plant-Conduct routine physical and chemical testing of wastewater, sludges, treated water, septage, and industrial waste -Perform field and laboratory measurements like pH, temperature, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Residual Chlorine (TRC), Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Solids (TS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Volatilized Solids (TVS), Sludge Volume Index (SVI), ortho P, alkalinity, etc.-Enter water quality data in WIMS (Water Information Management Solution) database -Clean-up Laboratories -Makeup work order if necessary-Inspect Amalgam Separators in Different dental offices of Massachusetts and help permitting them for dental discharges

-Looked at temporal variability of different species of Phosphorus (P) concentration in 3 different streams (Livermore Cove Brook, North Brook and Eagle Cliff Brook) to Squam Lake, New Hampshire during 3 storm events-Determined the concentration of total P (TP), total dissolved P (TDP), total particulate P (TPP), dissolved organic P (DOP) and soluble reactive P (SRP) during storm events in an hourly resolution-Analyzed the flow paths of different species of P during storm events-Analyzed pH, Specific conductivity, turbidity, total suspended solids (TSS), stable isotopes of water, etc. of water samples and analyzed them with P concentration-Used ISCO samplers for collecting water samples from stream during storm events-Used HOBO sensors for recording conductivity, temperature and stage data in every 4 minutes in stream and analyzed the obtained data-Measured discharge in the streams using Flowmeter -Generated hundreds of scientific graphs and figures as a part of data analyses using R programming-Generated maps for study sites using QGIS-Trained juniors to do water sampling and analyse water quality
