As a fellow at RU, I work on a study dedicated to online digital platforms and tools constituting the global art market and their impact on emerging markets. In 2019, I curate a new program at RU for artists, art managers, and curators based in Russia.

Symposium “Art of Becoming Black” brings together scholars and artists that work on the intersection of African-American history, race and popular culture. They provide the contextual framework for attendees to consider the role that creative arts practices have functioned as both potent literacies of resistance for marginalized communities--particularly for the African American community --and as a restorative practice which legitimizes and elevates individual voices and asserts their collective power.• initiated the interdisciplinary project which includes curatorial research for an experimental film with U.S., Russian and Canadian artists and panel discussion with scholars and artists • developed the program for the panel discussion; corresponded with speakers, planned the event• successful grant writing for the project - grants received from Indiana Humanities through National Endowment for Humanities, Puffin Foundation and Puffin West

Program included research for a monographic retrospective by Rina Banerjee and specifically her works on paper, initial research for a historical exhibition of African American artists,curatorial and administrative support with the touring show by the Propeller Group• collaborated on the development of the initial checklists with the museum curator Lauren Dickens • identified extant objects, located archival holdings and artwork in national and international collections, prepared bibliography and catalog images and materials for publication. • drafted loan letters, texts for labels and Kickstarter campaign of the museum

Greater New York City Area

As an invited co-curator worked on multi-screen video installation ‘Last March’ by U.S. artists Trevor Tweeten and Naum Medovoy and Russian artist Nikita Shokhov. The project was executed in collaboration with the curator Antonio Geusa and Salamatina Gallery.Projects initiated by Salamatina Gallery include artists' historical surveys, site-specific media installations, and retrospectives, arts from across the United States, and the world.
