In 2006 I came to the Netherlands to work for TomTom in the Map testing team. The following 6 years I learned all about automated testing and project planning.In my last role I was leading remotely located test teams.In 2012 I made a switch to Fugro to follow my passion for Hydrography and Geology. At first the focus was still on software testing, since a year I work on the client side. In this role I am responsible for the validation of the StarfixNG software package before it is rolled out to the vessels. I got a lot of opportunities e.g. I joined a geotechnical project in Norway for one month which was great, I could design a validation cycle for the roll-out of the software package, and lately I am also preparing software training for workshop engineers and surveyors.
