About Anke Somers
Anke Somers (1997)studeerde in oktober 2020 af als master LUCA School of Arts Drama met haar voorstelling Parasite Paradise, in samenspel met Mélissa Diarra, gecoacht door Wanda Eyckerman. Ze deed ervaring op tijdens haar stage bij Ultima Thule met de voorstelling Saperlipopette (2018). Bij Abattoir Fermé liep ze mee op de set van hun langspeelfilm Hotel Poseidon (verwacht in 2021).Even waagde ze zich ook in de wateren van slam poetry. Ze maakte twee beeldende performances in Mechelen en Leuven. In 2018 organiseerde ze met klasgenoten NOK festival op een oude zolder. Dit mondde uit in de oprichting van Collectief NOK. Ze is vooral actief in Mechelen bij plekken als H30, Artenova, arsenaal/lazarus, …Momenteel volgt ze de educatieve master aan RITCS School of Arts en geeft ze podiumreeksen aan kinderen van 6-12 jaar bij Artforum vzw in Leuven. In maart 2021 plant Collectief NOK een tweede editie van het gelijknamige festival.
