*** Seen in VOGUE Magazine / Page Magazine / Handelsblatt / Supported by Google for Startups ***I founded HANDFUL in 2020. However, my vision grew a few years earlier when, during my work as a User Experience Designer, I felt a strong need for a balance to my heady day-to-day work. I moved from Berlin to London to study the creative process from a new perspective, indulging myself in a playground for Creatives at one of the world’s leading Art Universities - Central Saint Martins and combining it with my meditation practice. I have grown as an artist and award winning designer in London with work exhibited at group and solo shows in Berlin and London. I have inspired individuals, groups and creatives with my work and clay workshops.Remembering my roots and challenges as a Creative working for leading agencies and international brands under the pressure to perform and be creative on a daily basis, I now want to share my knowledge and experience.Having embodied both worlds - the digital and tangible, I see a huge potential in activating our hands to re-connect to our creative potential and find focus, inner balance and innovative solutions. According to medical educator, Roger Lemon feedback happens every time we move our hands, handle a tool or explore a new surface (Lemon, 2014). In my workshops I guide participants to connect gestures, material study and a mindful approach, resulting in improved performance and wellbeing longterm. “Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.” (Carl Jung) Let me show you how activating the hands creates new opportunities. As the founder of the Clay-Meditation I offer diverse workshops with clay in London and Berlin. For companies interested in their employees well-being and creative output. So far my workshops have inspired designers and makers at the London Design Festival, architects from the award winning studio Assemble, employees of google and different Berlin startups or students at Central Saint Martins, one of the best art schools. Profit from regained focus, stronger self-awareness, reactivated body-mind-unit and refreshed creative output. Recommended by Turner Prize winning architecture studio Assemble: "The workshop gave me space and time to feel through clay. I learned that I think a lot, even when I try to think nothing." (Mathew Leung) "The workshop allowed me to let go. The activities take you wherever you go." (Mark Gavigan) "A great workshop that reset my brain." (Anthony Engi Meacock)

Claystudies is a platform concerned with ceramic art, ceramic design, ceramic objects as well as the creative process and the making. The mission is to contribute to a new awareness to ceramics, making the subject more accessible to a wider audience. Articles include reporting on emergent arts and artists, studio visits and interviews with makers, selected shows and exhibitions, fairs or events related to ceramics, clay or similar materials. The current focus is London and Berlin but that doesn’t mean, that work from a different part of the world can’t be discussed as well.
