Over a three year partnership, BHCF is supporting Lifeline with a new initiative: the research and development of a culturally appropriate 24/7 crisis support service for Chinese communities within Australia. Bridging Hope Charity Foundation was the inaugural Principal Supporter of The Big Anxiety Festival 2017 and has confirmed funding the 2019 Festival. As a major new event that explored and re-imagined the state of mental health in the 21st century, the festival featured leading national and international artists, scientists, technology experts and thinkers who assembled across Greater Sydney. Celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2018, the 21st Biennale of Sydney presented major new commissions and recent work by contemporary artists from Australia and around the world over 12 weeks at multiple locations throughout Sydney. BHCF has also committed to supporting local and emerging artists operating within the Lower North Shore in Sydney within the TWT Creative Precinct in St Leonards, 4,500 square metres of heavily subsidised inner-Sydney creative space in which artists may create and sell work.
