Our products have been designed in California and include high-end electric toothbrushes, a fluoride-free organic toothpaste, an ADA approved teeth whitening system, a non-carcinogenic string floss, a dentist-grade water flosser and a probiotic mouthwash.In creating products for FANG, I’ve traveled all over the world and utilized my family’s deep network and experience in the international pharmaceutical industry. I envision Fang to become the most respected name in Oral Care with operations all over the world and a presence on the Nasdaq 100. Tregus serves reputed international fashion retailers, department stores and brands as an original design manufacturer (ODM) for leather goods and footwear.Our manufacturing facilities are located in Kanpur, Mumbai and Kolkata. The facilities, which are completely mechanized, have acquired fully compliant status under various European and American requirements.

I’ve been involved with my family’s business in pharmaceutical manufacturing since the age of 21. I was handling an important Japanese client for whom we manufactured a high-quality hair loss drug. I have first hand experience in Japanese TQM, high-end product design and packaging and have seen how discipline and grit can solve the most complex problems.

I co-founded MyNutraCart.com to sell weight-loss and other nutraceutical supplements online. We had a fantastic run and were averaging monthly sales of Rs.50 lakh. However as we tried to scale this venture the cost of new customer acquisition became unsustainable. My baniya buddhi couldn’t justify scaling a business with negative contribution margins so we wound up the operations in 24 months. Around the same time, Tregus our family’s leather export business was scaling rapidly with fantastic returns on capital employed so I decided to focus my energies on growing it.In hindsight, I feel I may have been too conservative with MyNutraCart.com and should have stayed the course by sharpening the operations and raising venture capital. Our peers like Wow Skin Science have become large brands today and in hindsight there was absolutely nothing we couldn’t do that they have done to become successful.
