As a Plant Specialist at PACCAR Australia, I apply my CAD/CAM expertise and Lean & Six Sigma certification to optimize the design and production of heavy-duty trucks. I create technical drawings and schematics based on design specifications, prepare related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates, and ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards. I also maintain a library of standard drawing templates and update existing drawings as new information becomes available.Prior to joining PACCAR Australia, I worked as a Computer Aided Design Drafter at Zenith Interiors Pty Ltd and as an Industrial Engineer at Eastman Cast & Forge Ltd. In these roles, I gained valuable experience in new product development, cost efficient design, process improvement, quality management, and data analysis. I developed and implemented process improvements that reduced inefficiencies and improved productivity, designed production processes that maximized efficiency and reduced waste, and ensured that final products met established quality standards. I also analyzed large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends, and developed labor utilization standards and workforce planning. I am authorized to work in Australia, and I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial and Production Engineering from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.
