I am Ankit Kumar, Undergrad from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. During those 4 years, I was part of Formula student competition where I joined as suspension engineer trainee, then lead suspension and vehicle Dynamics in 2nd and 3rd year and got opportunity to lead the team in final year as Team captain. During those golden period, we participated in many national and international competition like FSAE Italy where we became first ever Indian team to win international award(winner of manufacturing and cost event) and later that year we cleared all major international quizzes(FSG,FSA,FSN,FSS,etc.) required to participate in competition.After being part of Design for Reliability (aka ~ DFR) team in Tesla, I mainly worked on Damage modelling(leading to PHM) of structural component(steering system, knuckle, Damper, Bushing, etc.) and classification of road roughness(IRI) using Modelling approach. I have also developed 7DOF model on Simulink to understand detailed suspension behavior and used the same in deciding parameters( underside body abuse, Virtual Road profile library,etc). I have also good hands on experience in Fleet Data analytics(pulling and postprocessing fleet data using pandas and spark) which lead to defining and validating test and reliability requirements.
