I have 4 years of hands on experience in additive manufacturing technologies (SLA, DLP, FDM, SLS) and I enjoy working on 3D printers and developing new materials for 3D printing, especially sustainable and bio-renewable materials. I have an Ender 3v2 at home as well and I’m always tuning it to get the best quality and printing speed for detailed models and figurines. My goal has always been to help people live a healthy life, by improving technology and bringing it closer to the future shown in Star Trek. This led me to pursue a career path in research, starting with an MS program in Mechanical Engineering where I learned about biosensors. After graduation, I worked for a year to get some experience in taking a consumer product from concept to manufacturing. At this point I really wanted to get back into research, which led me to sign up for the PhD program in Mechanical Engineering at UT Dallas and join the Advanced Polymer Research Lab (APRL).
