Ankit is currently working on building systems that enable Amazon Influencers Program (https://www.amazon.com/shop/info). He has experience being a key contributor in both established and green-field teams. Throughout his time at Amazon, he has lead and delivered projects end-to-end across teams that are now in production and enabling a better experience for influencers and sellers at Amazon and in the process has built expertise in Spark, EMR, Step Functions, Lambda, ECS and other key AWS services.Prior to working at Amazon, Ankit obtained his MS in CS from Arizona State University. At ASU, as a Research Associate, he worked in and eventually led a team of engineers in building systems enabling Machine Learning on edge devices. He wore various hats during his tenure ranging from designing the algorithms that ran on edge devices to presenting the solutions to potential investors, thereby gaining valuable experience in a gamut of roles.In addition to Software Engineering and Machine Learning, Ankit's interests lie in reading, public speaking and leadership. Ankit in past has lead the Toastmasters chapter at Nutanix, Bangalore being one of the founder members. He has been involved in various leadership positions throughout his career and has mentored more than ten engineers on skills ranging from communication, time-management, project ownership, career growth to good old technical stuff.Happy to connect!!
