Managed network Capex & Opex procurement, contracting, c&f and inventory management for UPE, UPW & Bihar telecom circles in span of 11 years in VIL.I have driven all the capex procurement of both goods and services which is required for project roll out of 2G/3G/4G new sites as well as upgrades.Managed the site consolidation project post merger from SCM side in UPE & UPW telecom Circles.My role was to contribute in strategic procurement activity related to all capex procurement. Idea Cellular limited (now VIL) is importing various Radio, microwave, Muxes, Optical Fiber transmission equipment and core equipments for MSC and BSC.My responsibility started with Indenting .We used do planning of capex procurement, placing PO, giving shipment clearance, clearing through customs, payment processing, inventory management, TI and logistics till deployment.

In ETIPL, I have got the opportunity of handling 2 major roles.1. Circle SCM - UPE, UPW & Uttrakhand2. Procurement Lead - Corporate office, Mumbai.Procurement of Passive Infra equipments like Towers, DG, Shelters, Batteries, Power Plants, Air conditioners, Servo Stabilizers and other Telecom Infra related materials.Negotiation & execution of rate contracts with technically approved vendors for procurement across 13 telecom circles.Finalizing & approving rates for civil & electrical work at telecom sites.Project budgeting for site rollout in 13 Circles on quarterly basis based on sales requirement.Putting constant endeavour to reduce procurement cost through E bidding, inventory reduction, development of indigenous product and optimize vendor base on the basis of vendor performance.Designed and implemented SCM related process (end to end from Purchase to Pay)Budgeting, MIS, Preparation of Capex/Opex requirement plan for UP Circle for Management approval on quarterly basis based on project needs.Identification and development of vendors for Civil Work, Electrical Work, Site Acquisition and LocalPanchayat/Municipal approval, EB Liasoning and Soil testing/Structural Stability.Negotiation of rates and finalization of contract with all terms and conditions in coordination with Legal Team for various services related to Logistics, Warehousing, Security, Diesel Filling and Maintenance work.For Class A Items, finalization of Annual Maintenance Contracts with major Vendors that includes Mahindra & Mahindra, Kirlosker, Eltek SGS, Hitachi, Delta and HBL Power Systems.Responsible for warehouse operations of UP East, UP West and Uttaranchal.Conducting Monthly stock audits at all warehouses to ascertain the physical stock vis-a-vis book stock, monitor stock healthiness and material accounting.
