Ankit is a Geotechnical Engineering professional with around 13 years of Geotechnical experience mainly on UK, Denmark, Qatar and India projects. His experience involves Rail, Metro and Highway projects. He has experience in working on EUROCODES, Indian Standards (IS), British Standards (BS), CIRIA. He is proficient in software skills involving PLAXIS, WALLAP, REPUTE, SLOPE/W, ALP, Holebase SI, PDisp, PIGLET, FOXTA, Talren, Roclab, GROUP, gINT and AUTOCAD.After post-graduation in the field of Geotechnical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Ankit started his career as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer with WS Atkins in the year 2013. During his tenure of around 5 years in Atkins, he gained all round Geotechnical experience including Geotechnical Interpretive Reports, Numerical modelling, Pile foundation design, shallow foundation design, retaining wall design, slope stability analysis, Ground Investigation supervision, Earthworks design, geotechnical estimate preparation. He has worked on some major UK projects such as A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon Highway Improvement, Smart Motorways project, Doha Metro and Contract 2 projects in Doha Qatar and Denmark projects Preparation of Electrification Aarhus Lindholm and Roskilde-Kalundborg Preparation for Electrification.He joined SYSTRA MVA Consulting in the year 2018 and has worked as Lead Geotechnical Engineer with experience on Indian Rail and Metro projects such as Chennai Metro, RRTS, Kanpur Metro, Delhi Metro, Patna Metro and UK Rail project High Speed 2 (HS2). He gained experience in Numerical modelling, foundation design, diaphragm wall and secant pile design, project management skills, project leading skills and coordination, mentoring skills, Building Damage Assessment, Instrumentation and Monitoring.He joined Ramboll in March 2023 and presently working here on Danish projects. He has worked on E45 widening framework and Ports and Marines projects as well as Geotechnical Interpretive report preparation for Rail project in Denmark. He is leading and managing a team of Geotechnical Engineers technically and commercially.
