As a doctoral researcher at Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar since 2018, I have over 10 years of experience in engineering and academia, with a focus on solid state joining of various materials. I hold a PhD in Solid State Joining, a Master of Engineering in Industrial and Production Engineering, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master of CAD-CAM certification from the Central Tool Room & Training Centre.My core competencies include materials science, texture analysis, and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), which I use to study and improve the joining of magnesium, aluminium, and additively manufactured alloys. I have published multiple papers in reputed journals, such as MSE-A, MSE-B, Optics and laser technology, CIRP Journal of Manufacturing Science and Technology, Micron and many more. My mission is to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and technology in the field of solid state joining, and to collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for various engineering applications.
