How did I end up in this fascinating world of Supply Chain and Technology? It was entirely by accident. I pursued a degree in Computer Science, fully convinced that my life would be all about writing code. Upon graduation, I landed my dream job as a Software Engineer. Little did I know that this would be the start of a remarkable journey. The company I joined specialized in building a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and they entrusted me with developing code for this WMS. I began to grasp the immense impact that technology can have on Supply Chain and Logistics. It was here that I first laid eyes on a warehouse, and I was awestruck by its scale and complexity!Every small improvement I made in the software had a ripple effect, ultimately leading to significant labor and cost savings. I realized that in this field, the smallest changes can yield substantial benefits. This captivated me and fueled my passion for the industry. My journey began with optimizing screen loading times, but quickly evolved beyond technology. I couldn't help but question the inefficiencies I witnessed on the warehouse floor. Why do we need to perform certain tasks in a cumbersome way when there are more efficient methods? These questions led me to appreciate the intricacies of Warehouse Operations.I wanted to make a difference beyond technology, but my expertise in coding kept me tethered to that role. Armed with an MBA a few years later, I took the bold step and transition to a customer's perspective. I offered my tech skills to a customer and embarked on a journey to build a brand new warehouse, from a greenfield site to a fully optimized operation. It was immensely rewarding. As I yearned for more challenges, for the thrill of pioneering something new, the idea of K2S was born. I envisioned a company that could bridge the gap between technology and operations, drawing from my unique experience as both a vendor and a customer.K2S was founded on the principle that while we may not have all the answers, we certainly know what doesn't work. Our promise to our customers is to steer them away from the pitfalls we've seen in the industry. We focus on delivering value by identifying and addressing inefficiencies and making supply chains more efficient. My journey has been one of unexpected twists, learning, and growth. I'm committed to leveraging my knowledge and experience to drive positive change in the Supply Chain & Logistics industry. Let's explore if I can be your trusted partner in navigating Supply Chain Execution.
