In this role I deliver the monthly consolidated Hub financial reporting pack within timescales set by Group finance to directors and ‘C’ level individuals. I ensure compliance with group finance policies, including regular review of key balance sheet reconciliations, by reviewing individual firm balance sheets, income statements and KPIs and ensuring firms provide sufficient information via Xero Workpapers.I improve business performance, profitability and development through various projects, strategies and initiatives. This includes implementing the Hub banking system, encompassing the transition of existing individual firm banking arrangements to Hub control, monitoring cash balances across the Hub and acting as Level 2 authority for payments. I also implement robust financial controls such as key intercompany reconciliations, recoverability of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and reliability of financial forecasts, and support Group tax initiatives such as Management fees/dividends, Transfer Pricing, Corporation Tax and Group Relief.I oversee Hub budget management, support the budgeting and reforecasting process and ensure RO budgets are robust and submitted on time and in line with Group growth criteria.In this role I investigate, analyse and understand key variances/issues in Revenue/EBITDA/Costs/GP%/Rev per head, categorising complex data into conclusive information to identify and challenge cost overruns and excess costs.I effectively manage Yearend Audit in own and Hub Ros and act as the main Hub contact for the external auditors.I also ensure key reporting standards such are IFRS15 Revenue recognition and IFRS16 Leases are applied across hub firms; and manage tax processes in compliance with internal and external regulations.Furthermore, I centralised the Finance function at Hub Level by integrating 12 regional offices, established a high-performing Hub finance team and supervise hub payroll for 150 employees across 12 employers.
