Supervised a team of 3 in design, development, and implementation of indirect procurement process across 8 countries within a period of 2.5 years. Worked closely with IT towards the build of an online platform (using IFS) catering to purchase order processing, vendor management, spend analysis and accounts payable(P2P). Undertook comprehensive AS-IS and fit-gap analysis of existing processes for target countries while working with cross functional teams across multiple geographies (APAC, LATAM, Africa, CIS and Europe).  Recommended targeted solutions for TO-BE process, developed & implemented Target Operating Model to be implemented across 62 countries over a period of 3 years. Established taxonomy of spend and sourcing groups to obtain real time spend insight. Performed Spend Analysis (using IFS/MS Excel) on 52,000+ suppliers  Introduced solutions such as P-cards and prime contractors (for 5% of the spent) for tail spend management, reducing transaction volume by ~35%. Collaborated with IT to translate process requirements into customized tools and reports to facilitate transactional procurement, reducing transaction time by up to 40%. Spearheaded project on standardization of payment terms globally , improving payment term compliance by over 80%. Authored policies related to Purchase (Global/local purchase policy) and Vendor management (New supplier Introduction, vendor management policy) in line with company’s Finance manual and introduced controls in system to ensure adoption. Revamped end to end indirect procurement process and integrated it with ERP from legacy system, reducing P2P cycle by ~40% and increasing visibility.

Oversaw day to day purchase of Indirect material (production consumables and spare parts) and CAPEX while working as an individual contributor in Purchase department at Samalkha Plant.
