In my role as a URJAK Fellow, I worked alongside the Block Education Officer to gather pertinent data on schools supported by the ONGC Foundation. Through rigorous assessments, I evaluated the functionality of toilets and delivered comprehensive reports, including estimates for necessary repairs. Furthermore, I actively engaged students and communities to instill a sense of ownership and responsibility towards maintaining these vital facilities, thereby contributing to the promotion of sustainable sanitation practices in schools.
