I worked on the Real Time Market Data team as part of Front Office technology. I created a, asynchronous connection between Kafka and shared memory files using a low latency API in C++.

I worked on the trade execution systems for the match engine component, which matches a buy order with a sell order in the shortest amount of time possible, averaging 20-25 million trades a day. I automated the modifications of the entire checkout script deployment suite, which verifies successful upgrades in the production and new release environments. The checkout script updating process is now takes about 1/5 of the time as the amount of manual work needed is now negligible

I worked on a team to design and implement a chatbot for both Facebook Messenger and Whatsapp. We use the TFIDF method and a Flask app. We have created a bot that is able to answer the common questions of immigrant populations while maintaining anonymity. The bot we have created is being used by Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition's current and future campaigns. It is forecasted to reach 1.2 million Massachusetts immigrant residents.

I collaborated with a team of female engineering students to create and design a project analyzing trends and anomalies in cell phone usage patterns. I worked with sub-team to organize data and make it available in JSON format through an API. This project will be presented at WE20 Conference Team Tech Challenge.
