This involved:Provide consulting and analytical insight on pharmaceutical drugs pricing in EuropeGiving recommendations whether pricing proposals should be accepted or rejected by analysing the impact of price reductions & new price submissions in EuropeDeveloping custom models by using applications such as MS Excel and Visual Basic.Design structured communications to present project findings to clients by summarizing and documenting results into easy-to-understand presentations.Projects Undertaken -Price Approval Analysis and Generic Pricing Strategy - Determining the overall European impact of price changes in pharmaceutical products. This includes Cross referencing impact, Parallel trade impact & Revenue loss. Based on these analysis recommendations are provided whether to accept or reject the price proposals.Regional Impact Assessment Model (RIAM) - Determining the optimal launch sequence of a product by maximizing expected future revenues based on various countries expected launch dates and price.Floor Price Report - Prepare regular pricing reports to enable review of performance of strategic products in EuropeComparative Cost Analysis - Developing model to make cost comparison of the competitor drugs across various countries at European level. This analysis helps in brand positioning of the drug.Launch Tracker - Developing a tool to track the prices & launch dates of the drugs across all European Markets so as to enable a comparison between the expected and actual launch sequence and the prices of the drugs.
