Tangled is a platform as a service provider that empowers entrepreneurs to launch disruptive Person2Person (P2P) services in 90 days at 1/5th the price. I lead and am deeply involved in business strategy, product management, channel partner relations, and technology development. We partner with domain experts who have an app idea to disrupt their niche market, but don’t have the technical capabilities or funding to pursue the idea on their own. Our program provides the early stage technology and coaching, while they provide the market knowledge and sales network. Our differentiating technology is the highly customizable, expandable, and scalable P2P platform on which domain apps are designed, built, launched, and monetized.

NewGov.us is a government relationship management (GRM) platform which makes it easy for US citizens and their personal networks to connect and collaborate with their Federal, state, and local representatives online. As the person responsible for implementing the vision, I owned the technical roadmap and architecture, managed all requirements from inception to UAT, and engaged early adopters for feedback. I led an 8-person Agile development team to launch the rapid prototype, the alpha MVP, and the open beta at https://newgov.us. Our GRM service reimagined how regular citizens engage their representatives through a unique mix of social networking and blogging features. The open beta supported 50,128 jurisdictions, 8,589 representatives, and 286 special interest groups.
