Ankit Kashmiri Gupta is an architect and urban planner with an experience of over a decade.His engagement with the UN-Habitat India, as Consultant Urban Planner had him conduct spatial and non-spatial analysis of urban areas to identify issues and propose strategic interventions for sustainable, resilient, low-carbon growth and development.Ankit is passionate about research and enquiry, and is a published author. He has a keen interest in understanding the successive layers of urban growth and evolution, catalysts for development and their manifestations in the urban realm. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Rural-urban transformation in the vicinity of planned industrial areas at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.In addition to his academic qualifications, he has been actively involved in architectural practice with a consultancy, Sampada, wherein he successfully steered projects across residential, commercial, hospitality and healthcare sectors. He is also committed to training the next generation of architects and urban planners, and has worked towards the objective by being associated with various higher education institutions in the city of Jaipur.
