Current- Designed & enhanced various hardware & instruments of a simulated cockpit of various military/commercial aircrafts.- Documented & engineering reviewed drawing packages; collaborated with vendors for suitable manufacturing methods.- Data captured & Reverse Engineered OEM flight instruments and created drawing packages for product manufacturing.- Performed FEA and studied singularity on critical components of the cockpit to withstand high load.- Evaluated & modified internal electrical and mechanical components of existing panels for better cost/efficiency.- Identify alternate manufacturing methods, materials, or processes for obsolete or long lead items.- Designed display panels, instruments, and enclosures that included touchscreens, custom displays, and backlights.- Designed illuminated NVIS & non-NVIS panels using filters and specialized components for night vision military cockpits.- Worked with sheetmetal, machined, 3D printed plastics, glass, filters, gaskets, laser cut parts, fiber glass, weldments, etc.
