Assistant Manager, Credit
CurrentI have the overall authority for handling credit portfolio of nearly Rs. 60 crores of the branch. The major responsibilities include:• Handling cash credit accounts with in depth analysis of credit record of business, credit scoring models and their appraisal to determine optimal contractual terms for the bank.• Independently conducting credit analysis according to policy and sound credit decision making, preparing decision documents for credit actions.• Continuously monitoring portfolio performance and conducting detailed monthly and quarterly analysis of credit trends to determine needed changes to credit portfolio.• Processing of retail loans and hedging the bank’s position by ensuring insurance cover for property and client, and creating an equitable mortgage in the bank’s favor.• Interacting with the clients to ensure due diligence for assessing creditworthiness in order to manage and mitigate credit risks.• Review customer accounts on a regular basis to maintain an appropriate level of credit risk• To manage operational and default risks by ensuring proper documentation and post disbursement follow up.• Issuing non-fund fund products like LC’s, Bank Guarantee’s, etc.
