www.mechgrads.com was an endeavor to channelize the efforts of Mechanical Engineering related information seekers on the web. Worked independently from inception to execution of the idea; Publicized and marketed the website.

1. Developed the framework of a techno-economic model for market based emission reduction policies with senior scientists, economists and market experts in the Paper & Pulp sector. This framework can now be used for other industrial sectors.2. Benchmarked the framework with an existing Cement Industry model developed at EPA.

Devised a novel combinatorial technology for enhancement of external heat transfer (over 10%) in a Diesel Engine radiator; Presented the technology at the ‘ GE Global Research Symposium 2006 ’.Status : Paper published at ASME Summer HT conference, San Francisco 2009

‘ Genetic Algorithm based optimization of PCM heat sink and effects of heat sink parameters on operational time ’ Impact : Optimization of Composite Heat Sinks (CHS) using Genetic Algorithms is performed and a design methodology determining the ‘best performing’ design (maximum operational time) within constraints is propounded.Status : The work is published in The ASME Journal of Heat Transfer.
