I make a living seeking and telling stories.In the last decade, I have completed my Doctorate focussing on 'Storytelling and Teacher Education'. Before that, I studied Journalism (BA Hons), Community Organisation Work ( MA Social Work) and Empathy building (MPhil). I also did professional courses in Storytelling (at Emerson College, England), in Art Therapy (at Bapu Trust, Pune) and in Design Thinking and Game Design (at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US). In the last decade, I undertook work challenges that taught me group facilitation, teaching to university students and applying storytelling to serve people and their work.In the last year, I have worked with the Center of Excellence in Teachers Education (CETE), TISS Mumbai as a consultant and guest faculty. I lead a team of five engaged in curriculum building on Mass Media for Humanities students of grades 11-12. I have also worked as an expert collaborator in Genvir (a project on gender-based violence) with De Montfort University, UK undertaking research and facilitation work with women and transgender community in Pune. I have also acted as a facilitator of Social Emotional Well-being component for the Pravaha Foundation. Independently, I like to use storytelling for purposeful and volunteer work. Some of my audio stories are available as open resources (kahaanikipoonch) on YouTube. My recent volunteering experience was with schools in Dras, Kargil and Leh, Ladakh in the month of April 2024.
