• Performed early/late phase process development and characterization, part of 14 early-phase and 9 late-phase teams (downstream lead for 10 teams) for mAbs, Fc-fusion proteins, bispecific antibodies, complex mAb formats. • Notable programs include casirivimab and imdevimab (REGEN‑COV / Ronapreve), atoltivimab (1 of 3 mAbs in Inmazeb), odronextamab (Ordspono), itepekimab, nesvacumab, suptavumab.• PD experience includes QbD approach, risk assessments, high-throughput resin screening, DoE and OFAT studies for chromatography (ProteinA, AEX, CEX, HIC, MMC) and membrane (VRF, UFDF) steps, CPP definition, pilot-scale batch purification, viral clearance studies, PIP support for tech transfer, module 3 sections for regulatory submissions. • People management experience includes managing 1 direct report and 7 co-op students. Coached them to become effective scientists and managed their research projects.• Purified > 100 candidates and other proteins (human/mouse mAbs, bispecifics, alternative antibody formats, Fc-fusion proteins, His-tagged proteins from 11 – 50 L bioreactor) to support the drug discovery stage. • Downstream lead for several recombinant proteins derived through on-column enzymatic cleavage of Fc-fusion proteins. Developed a custom resin suitable for GMP with a resin manufacturer. • Development of next-generation bispecific purification platform that provides higher productivity and consistent performance. Platform is based on variable binding to ProteinA to separate bispecifics from homodimers.• Characterizing the separation of individual CHO HCPs across typical purification steps (chromatography and filtration) and the effectiveness of washes and mobile phase modifiers.• Supported development of new cell line-specific HCP ELISA kit for improved HCP coverage.

• Performed a DoE to optimize the fatty acid precipitation step of a late phase mAb. Evaluated the effects of pH, conductivity, and fatty acid chain length on yield and HMW/HCP clearance.

• Evaluated whether the addition of several small molecules to media will result in improved antibody titer, CHO cell density and viability. • Transfected CHO and NS0 cells with a CrPV plasmid vector designed to inhibit the unfolded protein response pathway. Observed a > 2 g/L increase in titer compared to the control cell line.
