Mechanical Engineering, NIT Bhopal (GGPA - 8.14)Experience: Overall 6 years of experience in Automotive Frame & Suspension Assy Design & Development.Current role & responsibility:- Concept design and finalization for automotive chassis & suspension systems.- Design calculation of suspension components like leaf springs, coil springs, shock absorbers, Antiroll bar, etc. - System level design calculations for suspension like ride frequency, roll rate, rollover threshold etc.- Preparation of CAD Model and layout of chassis & suspension system - Drawings preparation & Documentation release in Teamcenter- Packaging study along with DMU Check points (critical clearance analysis), axle path and wheel envelope, etc. - Understanding FEA reports and ADAMs analysis reports and modify design accordingly - Validation & Field failure 8D analysis and closure of the same to resolve the issue. - Close interaction with various CFTs like Vehicle integration, testing departments, CAE, QA etc.- Preparation and release of Design Standards, DFMEA and Master DVPs for Chassis & Suspension components.- Interaction with suppliers & co-ordination for part development & validation - Execution & Implementation of Cost Reduction Ideas (Value Analysis & Value Engineering - VAVE)- Co-ordination with Plant CFT team for resolving Manufacturing & Assembly issues- Adherence to the Project timelines & Risk Assessment in Product Development Lifecycle
