Wasa Dredging provides dredging services for Malmporten Dredging Contractors, a JV of Boskalis and Van Oord. Our dredging spread of Backhoe "Optimus" and the self propelled barges "Boann" and "Sinann" are provided to perform dredging works. My role is to arrange that the works are executed as agreed, keep track of the day to day progress, that works are being paid for and that we work according to our own and clients QHSE requirements.

Together with the Chairman and the other Members of the Board keep track of the general health of the company and on basis of that determine where action is needed in our project driven organisation. We determine targets and objectives and see where there are possibilities or need for investment. In view of the high load of the future terminal, 20 tons/m², the end client, Tallinn Harbour, has ordered the dredging of the unsuitable soft soil masses. Taking care of the day to day management of the charter agreement with our client Høj Nordic Marine Contractors. Under the agreement two Self Propelled Split Hopper Barges ""Boann" and "Sinann" were rented out to perform transport of dredged and rock material in the Port of Esbjerg. Capital dredging in the harbour of Klaipeda, Lithuania for our client BMGS. A total volume of some 43,000 m³ of sandy clays dredged in a challenging and confined berth area. Works were performed for main contractor BMGS, from Latvia, using a Fidic Blue Book contract. For the works our Backhoe Dredger "Optimus" and Self Propelled Split Hopper Barges "Boann", "Sinann" were used.

Deepening of the Fairway and Harbour in Senjahopen, Senja Kommune in Norway. Contract used is a Design and Construct contract under NS 8407:2011. The design activities are focusing on the geo-technical, noise, turbidity and HSE elements in the project. As part of the scope water and sewage pipelines were removed or relocated. Soils dredged, some 275,000 m³ are to be placed with help of dump trucks into two onshore dumpsites.

Dredging of some 70,000 m³ of soils for the Phase 2 – Expansion Project. Soils will be dredged with Backhoe dredger “Harald”. The dredged material will be loaded in a towed split barge and dumped in the offshore appointed disposal area.

Providing Back-filling services by a backhoe dredger to Rohde Nielsen for the Baltic Pipe project in the Danish waters near Køge.

Providing trenching services with a Backhoe Dredger for the Baltic Pipeline, a gas pipe between between Denmark and Poland www.baltic-pipe.eu. The trenches made will provide a shelter and natural protection for the gaspipe. Services are rendered through our client Rohde Nielsen from Denmark.

Removing the bulk of the material using a Backhoe Dredger and transport the dredged soils with help of several Self Propelled Split Hopper Barges to an offshore appointed disposal area.
