Presently, I drive the revenue-driven and regulatory projects by supporting key strategic initiatives across the project lifecycle while ensuring effective governance by determining operational budgets, staffing requirements, and resources. I handle functional budgets and profit margins, as well as plan and execute mitigation strategies to mitigate risks that could impact program delivery. As the regulatory change management leader, I plan and coordinate work streams within the business change programmes. I also build a broad, cross-functional, international network with a wide range of stakeholders within the bank as well as achieved cost savings by optimizing processes, including digitization and vendor negotiations. Additionally, to sum up my key achievements, I spearheaded the launch of Barclays India's GIFT City project and reached revenue target in March 2021. I revised Barclays Private Bank's India strategy to increase profitability and was awarded 'Best Private Bank India Domestic' by Asian Private Banker. I also led the digitization of Barclays' transport automation project employees across India.

Within the scope of my role, I complied with regulatory requirements, enterprise-wide risk management framework, and Barclays internal policy standards. I led the financial planning, forecasts, cost allocations, and efficiency management, as well as savings and opportunities tracking. Moreover, I developed effective commercial relationships with major suppliers and reduced contracts by negotiating sharply. I also implemented location strategy and roadmap in India while balancing talent strategy with financial goals, as well as addressed cost and location requirements of stakeholders. I contributed to YoY savings through consolidating real estate vendors while assessing indirect reporting of 50+ (approx.) third parties. As a people leader, I oversaw people strategies, risk management, health and safety management and compliance across pan-India teams.

As the Vice President, Commercial Manager, I was engaged in close collaboration with CEOs, CFOs, and CHROs as a member of the project team. By leveraging strategic insight and thought leadership, I led the implementation of Target Operating Model, business development as well as financial and non-financial resource allocation. Additionally, I was successful in enhancing profitability of the ERBB division through financial management support and thorough business analysis. I spearheaded the development and implementation of one functional financial reporting process within ERBB Chief Operating Office teams across four countries. Also, I played a key role in reducing the balance sheet, closing operations, and integrating M&A activities. I led the restructuring project delivery that resulted in million-dollar cost savings.

FIn my capacity as Assistant Vice President – Operations Manager, I supported global finance strategic initiatives and led the data platforms for financial activities, including month-end reconciliations and million-dollar budgets. Furthermore, I served as a leading member within the team in managing projects related to procurement and funding of all Data Platforms. As the supplier management specialist, I managed third-party supplier relationships, while achieving annual cost savings through effective contract negotiations, recovery process, and financial control.

I advanced to the role of Analyst, Corporate & Consumer Affairs and I contributed towards business analysis and led financial matters for the Corporate & Consumer Affairs team. I participated in the reporting of customer satisfaction data including the Call to Action to senior management. In addition, I was successful in reducing customer issues/amendments to their accounts by resolving them in a timely manner to enhance customer satisfaction and advocacy scores. As a team leader, I built a team of 40 employees in Leeds as part of the Corporate & Consumer Affairs business unit in 2008.

Joined Barclays Bank Plc. as Analyst, Online Banking – Direct Channel – Coventry wherein I served as a SME for online banking queries and provide case resolution for both onshore and offshore colleagues and played a significant role in account acquisition by opening more than 500 e-savings accounts within 5 months.I also managed a team of 20 online banking advisors in Coventry and 45 advisors along with two team leaders in Mumbai.
