Job Responsibility:-- Preparing the mise-en-place on daily basis.- Baking tarts, cakes, puff pastries, sponges, cakes, cookies, etc.- Preparing creams, cremeux, pastry doughs, desert bases, and fillings.- Working for all on-demand orders for room services, Tea-time and Incoming orders from the Michelin star restaurant.- Finishing off the checklist on time on a daily basis.- Working in challenging situations while making sure the aesthetics and Quality of the final product,- maintaining hygiene and decorum of the kitchen - Working as a team and always being available and aware of kitchen and team needs.

- Negotiating commercial contract arrangements with local and international suppliers Studying and analysing international and national marketing trends and applying them in product sourcing and developing new range.- Getting the best buying terms and conditions and the most competitive prices available- Negotiating prices, Quantities and delivery time-scales with a supplier's sales team- Sourcing suppliers through contacts, confrences, Networking events and internet.- Study and analysis of the product performances and sales numbers and taking the same into account for future buying.- In depth product and sales study and presentation for the department on weekly and monthly basis.- Supervising and monitoring the work of overseas agents and merchandising assistants.- Working closely with the planners on new range, pricing strategy, allocation of goods as per store grades etc.- Partnering with the VM team for the best merchandise display.- Liasing with the QA department for in detail coverage of product compliance and test requirements and ensuring the same is followed by the partners.- Constant followup with planning, allocation and logistics team for smoother and faster flow of goods from port to the final destination store.- Discussing and interacting with designers on overall look/feel and packaging of the product.ACHIEVEMENTS @ REDTAG- Delivered LFL growth 17.31% in the year 2016, by empowering the weak categories, stabilizing the price points, correction in number of options and depth and introduction of more tasteful merchandise.- Increased BIM (bought in margin) 8% in 2016 by better negotiations and developing new suppliers. - Increased Mix of department from 1.5% in 2014 to 2% in 2016 in Redtag. Department mix in non Apparel division has increased from 5.5% to 6.5%.
