Hired by Agence France Presse to photograph riots in Portland and several sporting events. Produced several videos for an U.S. non-profit that focuses on women empowerment, solar electricity and literacy work in Ethiopia. I am also a commercial photographer specializing in business, sports and documentary photography. I also shoot, edit and produce video pieces for clients. I covered major events, Stanley Cup Finals, Buick Open, Rose Bowl, Super Bowl XL, four presidential visits, NASCAR, Red Wings, Pistons, college sports including hockey, football and basketball. I have shot, edited and produced several projects including a look back at the 1967 Detroit riots.

I served in Alaska (117th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, Fort Richardson) and Michigan (126th Press Camp Headquarters, Fort Custer) National Guard public affairs units. My duties included shooting photos, writing articles and designing our bi-monthly publication. I also conducted monthly classes on photojournalism for Army journalists.
