At Motovac Group, I lead of team of engineers, designers, and marketers with a focus on how to steer an auto parts company towards infinite growth. Here are some of the biggest challenges I tackle: 1. How might we realign the organization to be more customer-obsessed? 2. What processes provide the highest leverage in helping the company grow in the right direction? 3. How might we instill a growth-oriented mindset in every employee? It's been an amazing learning experience on how to steer larger organizations in a future-forward direction.

Shippo allows e-commerce businesses, marketplaces and warehouses to seamlessly integrate shipping into their workflow - whether that be through the Shippo UI (simpler for smaller business owners) or through the API to allow for a native experience for larger e-commerce retailers, marketplaces, and Inventory and Warehouse Management Systems. At Shippo, I led product for the Shippo API - spending my efforts understanding how to increase value for our larger customer segments namely marketplaces and larger e-commerce retailers.

Keen IO is the most customizable analytics platform on earth. From our roots to help individual developers track data on their applications, Keen grew to be the analytics powerhouse for the world's fastest growing, SaaS, media, e-commerce, gaming and IOT companies. OpenSilo (AngelPad #8) is an intelligent customer onboarding platform for developer tools. It was designed to connect customers directly with product experts. We built this to eliminate the pain of support delays, and to make people feel more connected. My role spanned multiple hats from designing and building the first iterations of the product to identifying and onboarding our early customers (enterprise companies that monetize their APIs or SDKs). Some of the product highlights:1. Building an experience that turned conversations into summaries so that insights were never lost in the noise of chat.2. Using NLP and machine learning to traverse organizational boundaries and create micro teams best suited to solve specific challenges.Though the company didn't work out in the end, it was an incredible journey. Motovac started as a story of 2 brothers and a repair garage in Botswana. 20 years on that garage has grown to become the largest retailer of auto parts in Southern Africa. I took on an independent consulting project to bring the company online amidst Africa's rise of online consumers.
