Responsible for design and development of system to efficiently and effectively distribute processing work amongst a variety of machines while making use of spare machines in case of failure.* With minimal guidance, had to brainstorm and design a system that would be able to process extremely large images with a variety of algorithms both in parallel and serially.* Had to provide a way for different machines to discover one another so that each had knowledge of where appropriate incoming data was available, as well as where to push outgoing data.* Worked closely with user community to develop a solution that would not only work for this specific case, but could be generalized to be used in future missions.* Worked with open source software (including JXTA) to develop communication and discovery between machines.

Created integration and qualification test scripts of complex portions of flight software for satellite system. Developed and implemented analyzation and simulation tools to allow testing of portions of the software.* Responsible for researching, understanding, and developing scripts for most complex applications.* Implemented tools for simpler data processing and allowed visual comparisons (graphs, charts) of volumes of data.* Created simulation tools to test parts of software that are otherwise not testable without actual hardware.
