Linear Algebra CSCI 2820Key Responsibilities:1. Manage course logistics by maintaining and updating course materials on Canvas and Gradescope.2. Assist in modifying and refining existing Python-based assignments to enhance their effectiveness and alignment with course objectives.

I managed a workforce of 80+ employees in a workshop where I oversaw the manufacturing of spares, worth over US$450 thousand yearly, for large mining equipment. Also, I dealt with end to end procurement of spares and consumables for maintenance of about 1000 large mining equipment employed in an area about the size of South Carolina(~80 thousand sq. km). Here, I applied AI algorithms like regression analysis and decision trees for preventive maintenance of large mining equipment and determining optimal haul road choices. The preventive maintenance initiative boosted machine availability by 16.4%. A department wide implementation of this process led to an increased production of over 1.2 million tonnes. Further, the optimal haul road choice techniques used in over 20 mining sites saved about US$50 thousand through reduction of fuel, tire and other consumables requirements.

I achieved an increase in production of over US$20 thousand by developing and implementing job scheduling application for manufacturing processes at the workshop.
