I am a recent graduate of IIM Kozhikode, & will be soon joining the World Wide Capacity Planning (WWCP) team of Amazon as a Capacity Planning Manager. At IIMK, I took majority of courses in the areas of Operations & Strategy. Also, I have a keen interest in areas of Finance & Marketing. I did summer internship as a Capacity Optimization Analyst (COA) in the WWCP team of Amazon, based at Hyderabad. The courses that I took in the Quantitative Methods & Operations Management (QMOM) area at IIMK helped me to successfully glide through summer internship. I was offered a pre-placement offer (PPO) from Amazon & accepted it.Prior to joining IIMK, I pursued M.Tech in Construction Technology & Management at IIT Delhi. I was sponsored by L&T construction to pursue this course through L&T's Build India Scholarship (BIS) scheme. The two year course provided me an ideal opportunity to build my career in Project Management & Execution. Based on my work proficiency at L&T & academic proficiency (aptitude test followed by interviews at IIT Delhi/IIT Madras/NIT Surathkal/NIT Trichy), I was selected to join IIT Delhi.Before joining IIT Delhi, I worked as a Senior Engineer in the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) department of L&T Construction, Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) IC for 2 years. I worked in diverse projects (Air Insulated Substations, Thermal & Nuclear Power Plants, Utility Power Distribution) ranging between 75 - 300 crores. I was awarded T&C Engineer of the month in May 2016. I got the opportunity to join L&T Construction through campus recruitment at NIT Raipur. I pursued Electrical Engineering at NIT Raipur & was conferred Honors due to my academic proficiency at the end of graduation.Apart from academics, I have always pursued extra-curricular activities actively. I took part in various competitions in singing, dramatics, online PC games & workshops on Product Management & Digital Marketing. At IIMK, I was a member of Industry Interaction Cell (IIC) & played the role of Treasurer. I was responsible for all aspects of cash management for IIC's events totaling INR 9.75 lacs. I along with my team organised Vertical Summit'19 & Horizons'20 for 500+ students. In addition, I was also a part of Emergency Response Team (ERT) at IIMK.At present, I have completed two Master's courses & people often ask from where I get the motivation & patience. I get the motivation to excel in all aspects of life from my mother. She is the first manager that I saw. I won’t say she is perfect but she has been a great source of inspiration in my life.
