Cloud Engineer – Cloud and Infra ManagementAzure HPC Buildout Ops Team• As part of Azure High Performance Computing(HPC) Buildout Ops Team managing end to end operations at different stages of azure infrastructure cluster buildout(OpenAI clusters/ HPC clusters/ GPC clusters).• Buildout cluster commission activities includes networking devices(Infiniband/IB device) configurations, upgrading OS on networking devices, monitoring of servers and virtual Machines in clusters.• Monitoring and troubleshooting Production Cluster network devices,servers/virtual machines issues(compute services) maintaining Azure data center global Infrastructure.• Working with Datacenter Engineers for replacing/resolving any cabling or wiring issues with respect to network devices and servers so engineers can fix physically in datacenter unblocking Cloud Infrastructure (CIS) workflow.• Deployment of Virtual machine Scale Sets(VMSS) with a predefined image using ARM Template on Azure Regions.• Acknowledging on Incident Management triggered in HPC queue on Various IB devices failures(Switch Down/ PSU Failures/ MGMT Failures/ Switch Module Failures) and worked on resolving the issue/ICM per predefined SLA.• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.• Have client interaction on buildout related issues and discussing on the troubleshooting for better delivery of clusters.• Working knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS,TCP/IP,OSI layer,HTTP,CDN,VPN,VNet, Azure Storage, Azure VMs etc.• Strong understanding knowledge of AWS services i.e; EC2, s3,VPC,ELB, IAM,AWS Lambda,Route53,Cloudwatch,EKS etc.• Strong understanding knowledge in containerization tool like Docker and container orchestration tool namely Kubernetes(K8s), writing Iac code template for provisioning of cloud resources using Terraform.

Team : Azure HPC Buildout teamJob Responsibilities: 1. Managing end to end operations at different stages of azure infrastructure cluster buildout and cluster commission activities like networking device(Infiniband/IB device)configurations, upgrading OS on networking devices, monitoring of servers in clusters.2. Following up with Site services technicians for any cabling or wiring issues and other network connectivity or IB link issues so that technicians can fix physically in datacenter.3. Remotely connect to servers/nodes/blades through chassis manager/rack manager and trouble shoot the issues.4. Raising of GDCO tickets for investigation for any link down issues on networking devices and servers/nodes.5. Handling different node issues based on the fault code and depending on the Fault code if its any software related issues we will be checking datacenter people to send it to Vendor attention for replacement of device.6. We try performing the reset node health and try performing repave on nodes depending the fault code and the error we see over the nodes.7. Working on remote monitoring tools like PUTTY, REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION, WINSCP.8. Taking escort sessions for the high priority and secure clusters to check the Configurations and Network related issues.9. On daily basis will be handling multiple compute and Game streaming clusters
