Ankush Sethi co-founded BioXcel India, in 2005. BioXcel believes that its work in R&D using AI & big data technology could benefit the development of innovative medicine. It addresses unmet needs of the medical industry, positively impacting the entire healthcare innovation ecosystem. A strategic planner & a solution finder, Ankush started BioXcel’s operations in India from scratch. His in-depth knowledge of the ground reality in India helped him to effectively address issues and successfully establish local operations. He went on to use his lessons from that exercise in his expanded role as COO of BioXcel, USA. Ankush supports ongoing global operations of BioXcel & its subsidiaries, and helps evaluate & build new opportunities.He is a visionary leader, with great interpersonal skills, who knows how to support yet push his carefully chosen cross-functional teams to the boundaries, helping them achieve what they thought was impossible. His commitment to operational excellence has led him to consistently focus on high quality cost-effective innovative solutions & processes & new business opportunities. As an entrepreneur, Ankush plays the critical role of facilitator ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery of all the core & peripheral functions.
