Dr. Ankush Oberoi is an entrepreneur & innovator who sits at the intersection of business, technology, and academia. He is a leading executive in the semiconductor software manufacturing industry, and currently serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Lavorro Inc.Ankush is best known for the success of Knights Technology, which sparked a multi-billion dollar market segment of productivity and cost savings for semiconductor fabs worldwide.He led Knights Technology through three successful acquisitions; the first to Electroglas (EGLS) in 1997, then to FEI Company (FEIC) in 2003, followed by Magma Design Automation (LAVA) in 2006. Magma Design Automation was acquired by Synopsys (SNPS) in 2012, where Ankush continued as an executive leading Synopsys’ entire suite of fab yield, failure analysis and in-fab design driven wafer inspection products until 2022.Ankush remains deeply passionate about engineering and innovation, holding several patents in the field of Semiconductor Failure Analysis and IC Manufacturing. He sits on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science. Ankush also serves as an advisory board member to various technology companies.Dr. Ankush Oberoi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in A/I & M/L for Semiconductor Design and Manufacturing, and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
