In my role, I led both the cloud platform engineering and IT Practices shared service groups, enabling delivery teams to effectively utilize cloud technologies to bring their ideas to life. I played a key role in designing the strategy for cloud adoption and successfully oversaw the launch of a more resilient and scalable Gen 2 cloud platform. Under my leadership, there was a 50% increase in the adoption of infrastructure as code pipelines and modules. I introduced best practices in areas like continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Operations, IT governance, and test automation. I was hired as VP of technology to head the overall delivery engine at Clearbridge. My various mandates included setting the strategic direction from a technology perspective, setting up the Project Management office, assisting with technical architecture, mentoring and coaching on best practices (from Agile Frameworks, Enterprise Architecture to Technology), managing the budgets as well as to participate in closing opportunities from a Sales perspective. As the director of engineering I was responsible for leading the engineering division through its various endeavours. Some of the main highlights were - • Participated in the solution architecture as well as hands-on coding for web/mobile initiatives for clients such as Bell, MLSE, Enercare, etc. • Increased engineering division size from 15 to 20 people.• Implemented the agile process within the engineering group and also assisted product, and UI/UX teams with their concerns related to agile frameworks. • Helped put in place career progression paths for Development, QA, and Architecture teams. • Established a base line velocity for the squads in the engineering group. More importantly areas of improvement were determined and worked upon. • Promoted knowledge share between team members as well as setup an environment to support cross platform learning.• Worked with the CTO and CEO to figure out risk assessment and mitigation plans.• Put in place coding guidelines. Introduced better code review process. • Participated in project estimation for sales, prototyping and troubleshooting.

• As Senior Technical Architect and Scrum Master I participated in various ongoing as well as new Web based projects within the OSS group of AT&T WiFi. Specifically I worked with TeamZero within the OSS group in Austin, TX. TeamZero is 13 strong with 7 developers and 6 QA members. • I worked across various technology domains – from .Net, Java, PHP to Groovy Grails. For certain projects I provided architectural guidance and for others I was the project liaison between our team and the various stakeholders (internal and external). • I actively participated in writing code for the Web based SIMS IP gateway; regarded as one of the best in the hospitality industry. It is used by hotel chains like Marriott, Four Seasons, Fairmont, etc to name a few. The platform was robust, device agnostic, and was able to handle an extremely large volume of traffic. • I provided troubleshooting guidance to team members for the various products that TeamZero manages. • I helped maintain as well as add new features to our Continuous Integration and build systems. • In addition as the Scrum Master I assisted our team (Team Zero) in achieving higher predictability from the approximately 85 percent mark to almost 95 percent.

• As the Founder & CTO of this company I was responsible not only for overseeing sales and business operations but also leading my team of 6 highly motivated engineers through various web/mobile and e-Commerce initiatives. • We were a consulting company that assisted small and medium sized organizations in solving technical challenges related to business workflows, as well as helped a number of companies in launching their e-Commerce initiatives. • We worked with renowned companies and universities like Beyond the Rack, Jesta, McGill University, and many more to develop web/mobile systems. • Being cross-functional me and my team delivered solutions using technologies that made the most sense for the problem we were trying to solve. In addition Giraphic Consulting worked on creating their own products/services as well. • I conceptualized Canada’s best Smart Menu system for the restaurant industry as well as the most customizable Online ordering system. These were solutions that were a combination of custom hardware and software. We launched the products in the Montreal market and got immediate success. These systems were designed to be robust, reliable, and extremely user friendly as restaurant owners and their patrons are not necessarily very technology oriented.

• In addition to working as CTO for Giraphic Consulting, I was also the Technical Director for i-Engineering Inc (based out of Connecticut). • I assisted the company in launching several new Web Based products. The products were targeted towards the insurance industry. These were highly specialized rules engine based Rate/Quote/Bind systems. They were a big success among American Insurance wholesalers and retailers. • We had a team of appx. 100 split up based on skillset (developers/QA/UX). Each team was reporting to a team leader. I had six direct reports working with me to deliver the business vision. • My main role was to assist in solving architectural concerns as well as provide guidance in terms of the business vision and how the product was going to shape up. • In addition, I was the face of engineering which meant meeting with clients to gather requirements, manage the project with the sales team, work on estimates, and to attend conferences to generate potential client leads.

• As one of the senior developers of the company, I designed and developed SOAP based applications for Superclick’s Internet Management System e.g. SIMS Teleconferencing, SIMS Fax. • Developed the Media Distribution System which was an online Ad Delivery Platform. • Was one of the main developers for the Management and Monitoring application that was used by 50+ support agents (inhouse), and IT managers of over 800+ hotels.

• I started off as a web developer at the firm and ended up also managing the servers and network for the firm. • I was responsible for the development and expansion of mapping software developed for real estate industry at MapMuse Inc. • Was the lead developer for the cutting edge elastic zoom technology for maps back in 2004.
