I provide care for complex medical patients in a long term acute care setting at the 3rd best ranked "America's Best Hospitals" by the US New & World Report. I collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of providers, physical/occupational/speech therapists, social workers, and case managers. My responsibilities include complex wound care, IV therapy, fistula/ostomy management, tracheostomy/ventillator care, and more.-I serve as the Unit representative for PPQC committee for practice and policy quality control-I am the editor of monthly unit newsletter to highlight policies, unit announcements, and staff celebrations/social events to promote a sense of community and teamwork on our unit.-I serve in the Charge Nurse role and have precepted nursing students and new nurse orientees.

I worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Physical Therapy department of MGH Institute of Health Professions through the Bulfinch Temp hiring services. My responsibilities included working together with the professors and administrative team of the PT department on projects such as preparing materials for lab activities using Microsoft Excel and compiling admissions data, Zoom driving, and program accreditation mapping. I used Microsoft Teams to communicate with my team members.

Served as a leader and peer counselor for the freshman Nursing Residential Academic Program (RAP) through planning programs and enforcing community standards and policies. My responsibilities included initiating events for community development, providing student learning initiatives, incident response, on-duty building coverage, role modeling, and administrative functions as part of a team of residential staff.

Dorchester Ymca (2016), West Robury Ymca (2017)

Supervised and worked with groups of 5-6 year old campers in 2016 and 11-12 year old campers in 2017. I helped to plan, lead, and implement camp curriculum through interactive games and activities in order to promote individual growth, development, and skill achievement through implementing a schedule of daily activities to allow children to learn and play while exploring the local community and participating in several different sports such as basketball and swimming to develop positive relationships and experiences.

Assisted teachers with help in building classroom portfolios, files, etc (using Google Docs, Keynote, Adobe, and Microsoft Office). I also helped to streamline classroom tools to help elementary school teachers implement curriculum.

Floating Hospital For Children

As a Teachers and High School Students (TAHSS) intern, I shadowed nurses and providers while also interacting with patients and families. As part of the program, I attended weekly lectures on Anatomy and Physical Diagnosis and also conducted research on using technology to help improve communication with autistic kids.
