Investigation of safety reports, issue safety actions, ensure compliance findings attended to. Chairman of Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings for Flight Operations & OCC Departments. Liaise with 3rd party support organisations (ATC etc). Undertake Centrik awareness training to new join aircrew. Closely work with other CLA departments on a daily basis to progress all of the above. Regularly attend industry safety and compliance functions on behalf of CLA.

In the final stages of establishing a new UK based AOC to commence operations with a new Airbus H155 helicopter for charter. Other types are currently under review and we look forward to working with new clients and helicopter types in the coming months and years ahead.

I was recruited on a short term contract to re-establish, develop and implement internal and external processes and procedures to ensure OGP and Mining standards were attained and audits when undertaken internally and externally were more frequently undertaken with relevant findings issued together with follow up and closure. The purpose of which was achieve and maintain new, higher standards.

Recruited to take up the role of Accountable Manager. This process involved working within the Safety and Quality department to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the operation before progressing to the post intended. During this time I provided additional support with a particular focus on Flight and Ground Operations. Due to the company ceasing operations, the position intended was never taken up.

I was tasked with obtaining the company's Air Operator Certificate for their new forthcoming operation utilising ATR72-500 aircraft which will be used for domestic routes within Ghana and regional destinations beyond. I am currently involved in assisting with the AOC process, ground and aircrew recruitment, Operations Manual compilation and establishing new procedures for such.

I have just returned from Ghana, West Africa having held the post of Head of Flight Operations undertaking scheduled and charter operations utilisingSaab 340A and Let 410 aircraft. During which time all flight and ground staff reported to me (including outstations) accounting for in excess of 70 staff.
