Chams is an NGO dedicated to the employability of refugees and vulnerable populations by training them to become Junior Developers (Computer Science). Initiated by Sofiane Ammar, an entrepreneur, I joined Chams to participate in the opening of the first school in Jordan, on the edge of Zaatari Camp, the largest Syrian refugee camp in the Middle East. Since then, we have opened a second school and continue our efforts to modestly contribute to the education of a youth who has lost everything in the war.<> Fundraising from the Fondation de France, Andan Foundation, and family offices <> Operations on the ground in Jordan with local authorities (Al Al Bayt University, Johud, the Jordanian Royal Family Foundation, UN) in order to open schools <> Organizing local networking events with stakeholders in Jordan, the French Embassy in Jordan, and internationals present on site (Orange EMEA, UNHCR, OXFAM...) <> Mentoring students; sharing experiences, exchanges, coaching <> Introduction to Levantine Arabic (greetings, introductions, numbers, basics...)

thecamp is an extraordinary initiative that I had the chance to be a part of, mainly focusing on communication and marketing aspects. The idea of Frédéric Chevalier, the late founder of thecamp, was to build a base camp for exploring the future. A unique place where creators, entrepreneurs, corporates, funds, communities, users, and others come together to prototype and test the products and services of tomorrow. It's also a place for team transformation, focused on positive growth. I participated in the creation of the project during its early stages and built the brand platform, branding, and communication with the thecamp team.
