Experience and self-introspection has taught me that there are mainly 2 types of people who struggle with addiction or other psychological problems. 1) The first set of people live in an environment in which drugs or alcohol are available and widely accepted. Or live in a stressful environment that cause emotional pain subsequently the individual uses a substance for self-medication - a quick fix. Some individuals may not develop substance dependency; however, may develop an undesirable behaviour pattern 2) On the other hand, there are individuals who live in a privileged environment but still abuse substances because they equate the "high" to happiness or excitement. Also, there is a possibility that they may sham Mental Health issues for attention-seekingI love to help such people live a more meaningful and purposeful life by offering them the best possible treatment option and connecting them to Mental Health Professionals.
