I have been a Project Manager since 2001. Once I get a new order, I work with the designer and gather as much information about the project as I can. Request a color model so my Line Supervisor and Plant Manager have a sample of what I will be asking him or her to produce for me. Sometimes, if it's a Permanent Job, I might not have all materials in-house to show, but I still try to show something so everyone understands what will be produced.I make sure all materials are ordered, provide detail information to the Plant Manager and Line Supervisor so the job can be completed on time. Contact vendors and make sure all of my orders are being shipped to me on time. I might help our vendors schedule freight pick-up with our freight carrier.Work with our shipping department and coordinate all shipments.Work with freight carriers to make sure everything is good with the shipment and gets delivered on time to its final destination.Work on job costing and invoicing.When working on Permanent Jobs, the DPM and I work as a Team to make our job successful. Below are a few primary responsibilities:- Manage project budget- Ensure that all necessary order information is supplied by salesperson and Account Manager.- Make sure final drawings are supplied at Project Turnover.- Attend Project Kick-off meetings.- Upload Purchase Requests for all outside materials.- Manage the timely purchase and receipt of outside purchase materials.- Manage client supplied materials.- Verify that stock materials are listed in estimate.- Generate Manufacturing Order.- Responsible for all manufacturing approvals.- Coordinate instruction sheet development and review for accuracy.- Responsible for inventory of finished orders that are stored in our facility or at an off-site facility.- Work closely with our China vendors with getting the production approvals, carton design, customs documents, instruction sheets and freight carrier.- Maintain project schedule.

Prior to working as a Billing Clerk, I worked as a Filling Clerk and Shipping Clerk at Rapid Displays, then:I used to work on invoicing the clients as soon as the job was completed.Created the invoice,Make sure the appropriate personnel reviewed and approved the invoice prior sending it to the client.After working for a while as a Billing Clerk. I took on Accounts Payable and Payroll responsibilities for 2 years.
